Located in one of the three “Beach Cities” in the South Bay region outside of Los Angeles County, The Boardroom is a three-story mixed-use commercial building located one block from Hermosa Beach. A small residential beach community with an active outdoor lifestyle, The Boardroom programmatically unifies the community’s rapport with its natural environment with the building’s commercial activity. The 20,000 sq. ft. of commercial space incorporating a restaurant, cafe, and 30 office condominium units surround two courtyards. The ground level courtyard serves as an outdoor extension for the restaurant drawing the energy and activity of the city into the building while the second level courtyard functions as an intermediary offering the solace of the outdoors to the office units.
